Monitoring and tracking using 0800, 0844, 0845 and virtual numbers

We help many of our clients by providing them with vital marketing data on a monthly basis.

The concept is quite simple. We place unique, individual numbers in each of our clients adverts. Normally we use 0800 numbers but it can be 0845 or 0844 if you wish. For example, if a client has five adverts in the Yellow Pages then we will give them five 0800 numbers - one for each ad.

Every month we look at the call data to see the number of calls on each 0800 number. We put this in a graph and email it to you. You can see at a glance which adverts are working and which aren't. We keep a tab on month to month figures and also a rolling average.

We take it a step further than this and let you know the actual cost per enquiry. Because we are a Yellow Pages Advertising Agency we know the annual and therefore the monthly costs of your adverts. We also know how many calls you receive a month.

For example: if one advert costs £100 per month and you get 10 calls on the 0800 number in the ad then the cost per enquiry is £10.

This is the only way we have come across where we can compare the performance of different media such as The BT Phone Book, Thomsons, Yell.com and Yellow Pages.

This means you can cut back or cancel unprofitable adverts that aren't pulling their weight. Many of our clients have found this invaluable as they look to free up money from printed advertising to fund the website design and internet marketing services that we offer.
